The operation managing your boat has run for 14 years in Brazil and today spans three countries. In South Florida, the group's yacht is based in Boca Raton.
No fine print. If the answer isn't here, text us.
Yes, and the system was built for exactly that. First: nobody can lock up the calendar — each owner holds at most two open bookings; use one, the system opens another. Second: there is no minimum or maximum usage limit — an open day on the calendar can be used on the spot, no booking needed. Third: booking no-shows run as high as 60%, and when someone cancels, the standby queue gives priority to whoever has used the boat least. The result in groups of 8: at least one weekend a month, often 3 or 4 outings. For perspective: a sole owner takes his own boat out about 20 times a year.
This group's yacht is docked at the Boca Raton marina. The Boatlux South Florida operation runs marinas in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and your share also opens the GIU network: boats at 80+ marinas across Brazil, Dubai and the US.
Yes. Beyond the marina visit, you can book a trial outing around the area before deciding. There's a fee for the trip: real boat, real cost. And after the purchase you're still covered by a contractual cooling-off window. You'll see the exact terms in writing at your visit.
No. A timeshare sells you time on something that is never yours. A share is property with a corporate structure: the yacht belongs to a Florida-registered LLC, and each owner joins as a member through their own LLC. Your stake is an asset: you can sell it whenever you want. It's the difference between subscribing to a club and holding equity in the company that owns the boat.
At a club you pay a subscription, own nothing, and compete for the fleet with hundreds of members on the good days. With a share you own a specific boat, in a closed group of 8 owners, with published rules that apply equally to everyone. A club you join. A share you own.
The share is yours: it can be sold at any time, and Boatlux supports the sale, with the transfer handled through the company for security. Full transparency: Boatlux does not buy back shares. Like any property, you sell it on the market, and there is demand: new groups open with waitlists.
No. The captain is included in the monthly fee. You come aboard with your family and guests; navigation, docking and refueling are his job. Only the fuel you burn is on you: the tank stays full, he refuels after your trip and the bill goes to you. It's a crewed yacht: you run the day, he runs the boat.
Simple rule: whoever causes damage pays 100% of the repair, and Boatlux handles the collection. Natural wear from sun and salt is shared by all, and ongoing professional maintenance is included. On top of that, the boat carries full insurance that works like your car's policy: complete coverage, with a deductible. The boat never depends on any one owner's goodwill.
Peak dates run through a dedicated lottery among interested owners, audited and processed by the platform, without touching regular bookings the rest of the year.
Bring them, always. On your outings you invite whoever you want: family, friends, clients. It's your boat; the only limit is the vessel's capacity. What about the boat going out without you? That works too: each share carries two named users. You name your spouse, for example: she books it, boards with the captain and invites whoever she wants, even when you're not there. And outside rentals don't exist: subletting is banned for everyone, which protects your asset. Your yacht never becomes a rental boat.
Brazil's largest boat co-ownership company: 14 years in operation, about 500 boats and more than 3,500 co-owners. Now in the US, with the NHD factory based in Miami. The Nautic Xperience is Boatlux's official representative in the United States: from first contact to signature, you're dealing with the official operation.
No model is perfect. This one works very well for people who understand and accept these rules:
