how one boat-share member put it
Why owners choose a share

Everything you wanted from a yacht. Without the second job.

The boat was never the problem. One owner paying for 365 days to use about 20 of them is the problem. Eight owners fix that arithmetic, and the day on the water doesn't change at all.

It's yours on paper

A real title in the company that owns the yacht. An asset you can sell, not a membership you'd walk away from.

The captain comes with it

You host the day. He handles the navigation, the docking and the fuel dock.

Ready before you get there

Cleaned, fueled and prepped. You step aboard, and at the end of the day you step off and drive home.

Eight owners, one yacht

Professional management runs it, and the cost of the yacht splits eight ways. That's the whole trick.

How it works

From the first call to the day the yacht is yours.

1. Book a free call

Fifteen minutes, picked right here on the site. No signup, and the call is with me.

2. Read every rule

The contract, the numbers and the fine print, in writing. Take it to your own lawyer or accountant if that's how you buy.

3. Become an owner

Your stake registered in the company that owns the yacht. Yours to use, yours to sell.

4. Show up and go

Book in the app, the captain is aboard, the boat is ready. This group is already on the water.

What the monthly covers

You own the boat. Not the work.

One monthly number covers all of it. The only variable is the fuel you burn, and that goes to whoever burned it.

The part nobody publishes

The tradeoffs, before you have to ask for them.

Everyone in this business keeps these behind a form. If one of them is a dealbreaker for you, better we both find out today.

My house rule: every rule and every number, in writing, before you decide anything. Almost nobody in this industry does it, which is exactly why I do.

Straight questions, straight answers

Everything you'd ask before buying.

Short answers here. The details I'd rather go through with you out loud, because yours won't be the same as the next man's.

There are 8 owners. Will I actually get to use the boat?

Eight owners share it, and the calendar runs through the operator's platform instead of going to whoever calls first, so no one can lock it up. What that adds up to in days depends on the group and the season, and you get the booking rules in writing before you decide anything. For comparison: a sole owner takes his own boat out about 20 times a year.

Where is the boat?

In South Florida. The exact marina is confirmed directly with you on the call. Your share also opens a global network: boats at 80+ marinas across Brazil, Dubai and the US.

What does a share cost?

Thirty thousand down puts you in, and the balance runs up to sixteen months with no interest. One monthly number after that covers the marina, the insurance, the maintenance and the captain. You get the whole sheet with your own numbers on it during the call, and you keep it either way.

Is this a timeshare?

No. A timeshare sells you time on something that is never yours. Here the yacht belongs to a Florida-registered LLC and you hold equity in it, an asset you can sell whenever you want.

What happens before I sign?

Every rule, every number and the contract itself reach you in writing first, and you're welcome to put all of it in front of your own lawyer or accountant. Be clear on one thing: there is no cooling-off window afterwards. Signed is signed, and I'd rather say that here than let you assume otherwise. If you want time to sit with it, a deposit can hold the share while you decide, and anything about getting aboard beforehand is worth asking me on the call.

What if I want out later?

The share is yours: sell it whenever you want, with the transfer handled through the operating company. Full transparency: the operator does not buy shares back. Like any property, you sell it on the market.

Do I need to know how to drive a boat?

No. The captain is included in the monthly fee. You run the day; he runs the boat. Only the fuel you burn is on you. The tank stays full, and the bill goes to whoever used it.

Who runs the operation? And who are you?

The boat is managed by one of the largest boat co-ownership operators in the world, now in the US. The Nautic Xperience is independent: I was on the operating side when it came here, close enough to the paperwork to know which questions a seller doesn't enjoy, and I publish what the industry keeps gated. The contract is signed directly with the operating company.

Who you're talking to
Luciano on the stern of a yacht

It's me on the other end.

Luciano. I was on the operating side of one of the largest boat co-ownership operations in the world when it opened in the United States, close enough to the paperwork to know which questions a seller doesn't enjoy. So the call is with me, and the answers come with numbers attached.

More about how I know this

Fifteen minutes, and you'll know exactly what it takes.

Bring the day you're picturing. If a boat is already yours, bring last season's bills too, and we'll put the two side by side.
